Jakarta, July 29, 2025 — DAHANA has proudly won the Indonesia Best Business Transformation 2025 award from SWA Media Group. This award recognizes the company’s successful implementation of strategic business transformations that have made a significant impact during a time of disruption. DAHANA received a “Very Good” rating at the event.
The award was presented by SWA’s Chief Editor, Kemal E. Gani, during the ceremony held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta. The event, themed “Enhancing Business Performance and Competitiveness through Corporate Transformation,” honored national companies that have maintained their competitiveness through sustainable transformations.
Mohamad Nur Sodiq, DAHANA’s Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources, commented that the business world has faced major disruptions over the past decade. These include advancements in digital technology, automation, artificial intelligence, shifts in consumer behavior, geopolitical pressures, and the impacts of the global pandemic.
“We must take concrete steps to continuously enhance the company’s performance. Transformation is essential for us to keep pace with the increasingly turbulent business dynamics and adapt to changes,” said Mr Sodiq.
He elaborated that DAHANA’s business transformation focuses on three main areas, namely, strengthening business processes, market penetration, and digitizing all operational activities. These efforts are supported by a team of competent and professional human resources to ensure that the transformation process is effective and sustainable.
The enhancement of business processes is demonstrated by the company’s commitment to building systems that promote performance acceleration and efficiency, including technological advancements and employee competency development aligned with future industry needs.
“Fortunately, DAHANA has experienced rapid growth. For example, despite the disruptions caused by COVID-19, DAHANA managed to navigate the challenges successfully and achieved valuable results, as evidenced by increased revenue,” Sodiq noted.
DAHANA’s transformation also addresses work culture and organizational governance. The Company actively promotes digitalization in its performance management system, implements occupational safety and health (OSH) measures, and strengthens its organizational structure to adapt more effectively to market changes.
Dr. Toto Pranoto, Chairman of the SWA Award Judge, emphasized the importance of rapid and comprehensive organizational transformation in this era of disruption. He stated that such transformations must be directly led by top leaders who have the courage to make significant decisions.
“The key to successful transformation lies not only in strategy but also in the execution of that strategy. It requires bravery from top leaders and a collective commitment from the entire organization to truly embed transformation into the company culture,” said Dr. Pranoto.
As part of the state-owned defense enterprise under the DEFEND ID holding company, DAHANA views this achievement as a catalyst to continue advancing as an innovative and resilient company that has a positive impact on the nation.
“We are grateful to SWA for this award, as well as to all stakeholders—from shareholders and the board of commissioners to the board of directors, employees, and customers—who have been part of this transformational journey. This award belongs to all of us,” concluded Mr Sodiq.
